NutritionThe basic purpose of food is getting good nutrition to maintain bodily integrity and ensure the proper functioning of the functions that allow life to continue.


 
Nutrition is the process by which our body assimilates the substances necessary to maintain and perform their functions and includes receipt of the nutrients in food processing and use within, to eliminate what does not serve or harm.
Nutrition can be bad not only for excess food but also for their lack or an imbalance between those who take.
In all cases there are conditions that affect health, obesity, malnutrition and disease due to lack or excess of some specific nutrient.
 
Technological advances and progress imply a change in the quality of food that often lead to the replacement of certain foods consumed naturally by other refined or altered. The organs and functions most directly involved in nutrition, digestive functions with special characteristics and metabolism, are more often suffering the consequences of incorrect feeding.

 
It is extremely important to keep food as part of our diet.
